System Engineering and Engineering is in compliance to well-known standard as ECSS-E-Series and implements a MODEL BASED Approach.

Temis Quality System is based on the requirements established by ISO-9001, EN-9100 and ECSS standard, depending on customer requirements. Temis has achieved the ISO 9001 certification at beginning of 2009 by the World Certification Services (WCS), certificate N° 6960. Temis organisation gives particular attention to quality assurance policy to design, produce and test products responding to an high quality and reliability level for professional, military and space applications. The consolidated quality assurance approach is familiar to all people working in Temis such that the quality assurance philosophy is applied since the early stage of a project preventing potential problems at the end. The space projects are developed according to European Cooperation for Space Standardisation (ECSS) Specifications that are the applicable Requirements for such a project.
The thermal control analysis and modeling is critical for harsh environments typical of the aeronautic/aerospace application. TEMIS can perform Detailed analysis and mechanical design of boards and chassis, together with Thermo-structural analysis and simulation. TEMIS can also assist the customer to Environmental test campaign for validation and qualification
TEMIS develops software components for different applications in both aeronautic and ground segment, following a following a development process compliant to ECSS standards.<br /> TEMIS has developed SW for test equipment, for attitude control and for satellite subsystem simulators dedicated to operator training,
TEMIS has the capabilities to analyze and process the hardware specifications of electronic systems of both ground test equipment and of embedded safety critical applications; the company engineers define with the customer the validation plan for electronics by analyzing and/or producing test specifications and following in-person development and validation both at the company and at the suppliers.
TEMIS supports Large systems Integrators in the design, implementation and validation of the satellite AOCS subsystem. The company can start from the system requirements and define the attitude control system specification providing also a first dimensioning and choosing sensors and actuators.
TEMIS has been involved in some important space projects as subcontractor of OHB group. The main effort has been spent in the definition, project and realization of Electrical Ground Support Equipment’s (EGSE) with a special focus on the attitude and control subsystem.
TEMIS, in the frame of VEGA first and second qualification launch, delivered the Avionic & Harness Subsystem (A&H). The A&H has been conceived with the purpose of assisting the Launch Vehicle in the acquisition and monitoring of key parameters inside the launcher fairing and of providing separation of the payloads (satellites) inside the launcher. TEMIS provided also, for exomars mission, the Central Electronics Unit (CEU) Boards.
TEMIS has gained competencies in the electrical actuator field, and it’s able to provide a qualified product for avionic purpose. Both the development of the actuator itself and of the HW/SW control parts are managed from the company engineers, allowing to deliver a turn-key system to the customers.
